Luthor escapes by using a device that allows him to travel to parallel earths, but unfortunately the Syndicate Capture and kill his friend the Jester.

Mark Millar once wrote a 22 page comic called The Rape of Wonder Woman and pitched it to DC shortly after The Death of Superman came out. The contents were never revealed, but from what I’ve heard it was just 22 pages of Wonder Woman getting raped with no other plot or context. I remember there being a thing where Bizarro defeated Wonder Woman (which was dumb), and I think there was something about rape going on in that situation. I mean, I really hope not, because I like Diana and her being raped would be awful (I’m already really uncomfortable with the idea of rape being in comics and stuff). Superwoman remains captured by Wonder Woman for the rest of this movie, and has a brief fighting scene at the end with Wonder Woman which she loses.
